Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is thrilled to announce we have been awarded the National Airspace System (NAS) Data Warehouse (NAS-DW) Task Order under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Systems Engineering and Technical Innovative Solutions (SETIS) IDIQ contract. In partnership with Volanno, CS will lead efforts to maintain, operate, integrate, and engineer the NAS-DW.

The NAS-DW is a critical component of the FAA’s enterprise solution, providing a stable, repeatable, and well-documented platform for delivering essential operational data and performance analysis to FAA leadership and stakeholders. The NAS-DW has played an expanding role in supporting the FAA’s data needs, enabling data-driven decision-making by providing the FAA with the analytical and reporting capabilities needed to manage and modernize the National Airspace System.

This award represents a significant milestone for CS and highlights our continued dedication to enhancing the NAS-DW’s capabilities. Concept Solutions, LLC Wins FAA ITIPSS IDIQ Award

Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is excited to have been awarded the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Information Technology Innovative Procurement Strategic Sourcing (ITIPSS) contract supporting the Office of Information Technology (AIT). This IDIQ multiple-award contract, with a $2.4 billion shared ceiling over ten years, will enable the FAA to acquire a full range of IT capabilities, solutions, and emerging technologies, offering state-of-the-art IT-related service solutions.

The ITIPSS contract is essential for procuring non-National Airspace System (non-NAS) IT services, supporting various functions such as FAA facilities inspections, internal and external investigations, IT resource management, financial management, and security.

CS will lead a team of 12 subcontractors to support the AIT in achieving its strategic IT initiatives, delivering comprehensive, multi-disciplinary IT-related services, and contributing to the FAA’s mission of aviation safety and excellence. Our team will manage information systems nationwide, providing support for administrative, financial, regulatory, disciplinary, investigative, and security programs to enhance operational and facility management capabilities, as well as assist in evolving existing programs and implementing innovative solutions aligned with the FAA’s strategic goals, including future technology modernization efforts.

AMSOMS is a 5-year Task Order and our 18th award on the Electronic FAA Accelerated and Simplified Tasks (eFAST) Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) Contract. Our team will provide aeronautical information services, technical and operational support for data collection, and investment analysis, solution development, program, and maintenance support for critical FAA aeronautical information systems, integrated systems, and applications. These critical systems are a major component of maintaining the safety and efficiency of National Airspace System (NAS) operations. SETSS IDIQ Award

Reston, Va. — February 22, 2021 — The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recently awarded Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) a systems engineering and technical support services contract with a focus on integrating Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) into the National Airspace System (NAS).

Under the terms of the $33 million, five-year, indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery (IDIQ), single award contract, CS will lead a team of small and large business partners in helping the FAA Air Traffic Organization’s (ATO) Mission Support Services (AJV) Strategy Directorate (AJV-S) mature concepts and requirements to advance the state of UAS integration in the NAS and enable a range of envisioned use cases including but not limited to: linear infrastructure inspection, agricultural surveillance, small package delivery, on-airport surface inspection, Class A airspace operations, and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) passenger operations.

To achieve these goals, CS will support AJV-S with identifying and confirming NAS system and service enhancements necessary to enable routine UAS operations in the NAS by conducting operational needs assessments; concept exploration, development, and verification; and requirements continuity efforts. CS will mature concepts associated with the adaptation of existing and planned enabling systems, decision support tools, and services; identify corresponding operations, functions, and performance requirements for the concepts; reduce technical risk, quantify benefits, support alternatives development, and identify safety concerns; and arrive at and evaluate program-specific operational shortfalls and proposed solutions addressing those shortfalls. Task activities will include detailed, structured technical analyses of the solution areas to evolve concepts and requirements while ensuring traceability to validated air traffic-related operational needs, as well as prepare for formal acquisition milestones for systems and services necessary to support UAS integration.

ABMS IDIQ Award

Reston, Va. — January 14, 2021 — Concept Solutions, LLC has been awarded a $950,000,000 ceiling indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the maturation, demonstration and proliferation of capability across platforms and domains, leveraging open systems design, modern software and algorithm development in order to enable Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2). This contract is part of a multiple award multi-level security effort to provide development and operation of systems as a unified force across all domains (air, land, sea, space, cyber, and electromagnetic spectrum) in an open architecture family of systems that enables capabilities via multiple integrated platforms.
