Concept Solutions WINS 2021 ATCA Annual Outstanding Achievement Award for Small Business
Reston, VA. — September 27, 2021 — The Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) has awarded Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) with the 2021 Small Business Outstanding Achievement Award. Our Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Command and Control Communications (C3) Emergency Operations Network (EON) Team was selected for demonstrating outstanding achievement and contribution, which has added to the quality, safety, or efficiency of air traffic control.

As the spread of COVID-19 proliferated throughout the United States in late April 2020, FAA leadership had a critical need for a system with scoped COVID-19 case data to support the FAA’s operations and transparent decision-making. CS played a key role in recognizing the urgency and criticality of the Administrator’s directive. The technical expertise and contributions of our EON Team was key in successfully developing the COVID-19 Operations Dashboard in just 48 hours and, subsequently, maintaining availability to FAA leadership and employees throughout the pandemic.
The Dashboard continues to play a critical role in the effectiveness and transparency of FAA decision-making throughout the pandemic. The FAA COVID-19 Incident Management Team and the Office of Aerospace Medicine rely almost exclusively on the dashboard when making critical travel and Recovery Phasing recommendations to senior agency leaders.
